s o soll man's unter ihnen auf einen Eid bei dem HERRN kommen lassen, ob er nicht habe seine Hand an seines Nächsten Habe gelegt; und des Gutes Herr soll's annehmen, also daß jener nicht bezahlen müsse.

the oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, whether he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods; and the owner thereof shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution.
