A nd Jehovah said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people; if I go up into the midst of thee for one moment, I shall consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

Porque el Señor había dicho a Moisés: Di a los hijos de Israel: “Sois un pueblo de dura cerviz; si por un momento yo me presentara en medio de ti, te destruiría. Ahora pues, quítate tus atavíos, para que yo sepa qué he de hacer contigo.”
