S amuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me, to bring me up?” Saul answered, “I am very distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me, and answers me no more, by prophets, or by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may make known to me what I shall do.”

Entonces Samuel dijo a Saúl: “¿Por qué me has perturbado haciéndome subir?” Y Saúl respondió: “Estoy en gran angustia, pues los Filisteos hacen guerra contra mí; Dios se ha apartado de mí y ya no me responde ni por los profetas ni por sueños; por esto te he llamado, para que me reveles lo que debo hacer.”
