T he people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has worked this great salvation in Israel? Far from it! As Yahweh lives, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he has worked with God today!” So the people rescued Jonathan, that he didn’t die.

Pero el pueblo dijo a Saúl: ¿Debe morir Jonatán, el que ha obtenido esta gran liberación en Israel? No sea así. Vive el Señor que ni un cabello de su cabeza caerá a tierra, porque él ha obrado con Dios en este día. Así el pueblo rescató a Jonatán, y no murió.
