T he men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”

Entonces los hombres de Gabaón enviaron mensaje a Josué al campamento de Gilgal, diciendo: No abandones a tus siervos; sube rápidamente a nosotros, sálvanos y ayúdanos, porque todos los reyes de los amorreos que habitan en los montes se han reunido contra nosotros.
