Y ou shall consume all the peoples whom Yahweh your God shall deliver to you. Your eye shall not pity them: neither shall you serve their gods; for that would be a snare to you.

Do të shfarosësh, pra, të gjithë popujt që Zoti, Perëndia yt, po të jep në pushtetin tënd; syri yt nuk duhet të ketë mëshirë për ta dhe mos u shërbe perëndive të tyre, sepse ky do të ishte një kurth për ty.
