H e who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. It shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.

Celce va strînge cenuşa vacii, să-şi spele hainele, şi să fie necurat pînă seara. Aceasta să fie o lege vecinică atît pentru copiii lui Israel cît şi pentru străinul care locuieşte în mijlocul lor.
