I n the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, even a great warfare: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

În al treilea an de domnie al lui Cirus, împăratul Persiei, i-a fost descoperit un cuvânt lui Daniel, cel care fusese numit Beltşaţar. Cuvântul este adevărat şi vesteşte un mare război. El a priceput cuvântul, înţelegerea acestuia venindu-i printr-o viziune.
