T hey shall eat up your harvest, and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They shall eat up your flocks and your herds. They shall eat up your vines and your fig trees. They shall beat down your fortified cities, in which you trust, with the sword.

Y se comerán tu mies y tu pan, se comerán a tus hijos y a tus hijas; se comerán tus ovejas y tus vacas, se comerán tus viñas y tus higueras, y con su espada demolerán tus ciudades fortificadas, en las que confías.
