t hen spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying to Jeremiah, You speak falsely: Yahweh our God has not sent you to say, You shall not go into Egypt to live there;

então falaram Azarias, filho de Hosaías, e Joanã, filho de Careá, e todos os homens soberbos, dizendo a Jeremias: Tu dizes mentiras; o Senhor nosso Deus não te enviou a dizer: Não entreis no Egito para ali peregrinardes;
