T hen Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard; and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city was spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

Entonces el rey Sedequías ordenó que pusieran a Jeremías en el patio de la guardia y le dieran una torta de pan al día de la calle de los panaderos, hasta que se acabara todo el pan en la ciudad. Y permaneció Jeremías en el patio de la guardia.
