T he priests didn’t say, ‘Where is Yahweh?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and followed things that do not profit.

Non hanno detto i sacerdoti: “Dov’è il Signore ?” I depositari della legge non mi hanno conosciuto, i pastori mi sono stati infedeli, i profeti hanno profetizzato nel nome di Baal e sono andati dietro a cose che non giovano a nulla.
