T hen Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors; even to the tower of Hammeah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananel.

«Eliasib, sommo sacerdote, si mise al lavoro con i suoi fratelli sacerdoti e insieme costruirono la porta delle Pecore; la consacrarono e vi misero i battenti; continuarono a costruire fino alla torre di Mea, che consacrarono, e fino alla torre di Cananeel.
