T hen Ezra rose up from before God’s house, and went into the room of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came there, he ate no bread, nor drank water; for he mourned because of their trespass of the captivity.

Poi Esdra si alzò davanti alla casa di DIO e andò nella camera di Jehohanan, figlio di Eliascib. Mentre era là, egli non mangiò pane né bevve acqua, perché faceva cordoglio per il peccato dei reduci dalla cattività.
