H e made in Jerusalem engines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and on the battlements, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. His name spread far abroad; for he was marvelously helped, until he was strong.

Y en Jerusalén hizo máquinas de guerra inventadas por hombres hábiles para poner las en las torres y en las esquinas, para arrojar flechas y grandes piedras. Por eso su fama se extendió hasta muy lejos, porque fue ayudado en forma prodigiosa hasta que se hizo muy fuerte.
