M oreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and ordered them according to their fathers’ houses, under captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, even all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and upward, and found them three hundred thousand chosen men, able to go out to war, who could handle spear and shield.

Además, Amasías reunió a Judá, y conforme a sus casas paternas los puso bajo comandantes de miles y comandantes de cientos por todo Judá y Benjamín; e hizo un censo de los de veinte años arriba, y halló trescientos mil hombres escogidos, hábiles para ir a la guerra y para manejar lanza y escudo.
