S o Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of Yahweh’s house, and the treasures of the king’s house. He took it all away. He also took away the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

Kështu Shishaku, mbret i Egjiptit, u sul kundër Jeruzalemit dhe mori me vete thesaret e shtëpisë të Zotit dhe thesaret e pallatit mbretëror; mori me vete çdo gjë; mori edhe mburojat prej ari që kishte bërë Salomoni.
