S o the king didn’t listen to the people; for it was brought about of God, that Yahweh might establish his word, which he spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Kështu mbreti nuk e dëgjoi popullin, sepse zhvillimi i ngjarjeve varej nga Perëndia, me qëllim që Zoti ta çonte në vend fjalën e tij, që ia kishte drejtuar Jeroboamit, birit të Nebatit, me anë të Ahijahut nga Shilohu.
