D avid lifted up his eyes, and saw Yahweh’s angel standing between earth and the sky, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell on their faces.

Davidi me sytë e ngritur, pa engjëllin e Zotit që rrinte midis tokës dhe qiellit me në dorë një shpatë të zhveshur dhe të drejtuar mbi Jeruzalem. Atëherë Davidi dhe pleqtë, të veshur me thasë, ranë përmbys me fytyrë për tokë.
