T hen Saul said to his armor bearer, “Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not; for he was terrified. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it.

Então disse Saul: Arranca a tua espada, e atravessa-me com ela, para que que não venham estes incircuncisos e escarneçam de mim. Mas o seu escudeiro não quis, porque temia muito; então tomou Saul a sua espada, e se lançou sobre ela.
