B ut Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought. As Yahweh lives, I will run after him, and take something from him.”

Ma Gheazi, servo di Eliseo, uomo di Dio, disse fra sé: «Ecco, il mio signore è stato troppo generoso con Naaman, con questo Siro, non accettando dalla sua mano quanto egli aveva portato; com’è vero che il Signore vive, io voglio corrergli dietro e avere da lui qualcosa».
