I n this thing may Yahweh pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon. When I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, may Yahweh pardon your servant in this thing.”

Tuttavia l'Eterno perdoni il tuo servo per questa cosa: quando il mio signore si reca nel tempio di Rimmon; per farvi adorazione e si appoggia al mio braccio, se anch'io mi prostro nel tempio di Rimmon; voglia l'Eterno perdonare il tuo servo per questa cosa, quando io mi prostrerò nel tempio di Rimmon».
