T hen he took his oldest son who would have reigned in his place, and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. There was great wrath against Israel; and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

Entonces tomó a su hijo primogénito que había de reinar en su lugar, y lo ofreció en holocausto sobre la muralla. Y hubo gran ira contra los Israelitas, quienes se apartaron de allí y regresaron a su tierra.
