A t that time, Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of Yahweh’s temple, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.

Fu allora che Ezechia, re di Giuda, staccò dalle porte del tempio del Signore e dagli stipiti le lame d’oro di cui egli stesso li aveva ricoperti, e le diede al re d’Assiria.
