H ezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, “I have offended you. Return from me. That which you put on me, I will bear.” The king of Assyria appointed to Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Entonces Ezequías, rey de Judá, envió a decir al rey de Asiria en Laquis: He hecho lo malo. Retírate de mí; lo que me impongas, aceptaré. Y el rey de Asiria impuso a Ezequías, rey de Judá, trescientos talentos de plata y treinta talentos de oro.
