B athsheba therefore went to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah. The king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself to her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a throne to be set for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right hand.

Batşeba s-a dus la regele Solomon ca să vorbească pentru Adonia. Regele s-a ridicat s-o întâmpine, s-a plecat înaintea ei şi apoi s-a aşezat pe tron. El a poruncit să se aducă un tron şi pentru mama lui, iar ea s-a aşezat la dreapta lui.
