E lijah came near to all the people, and said, “How long will you waver between the two sides? If Yahweh is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” The people didn’t say a word.

Atunci Ilie s-a apropiat de tot poporul şi a zis: – Până când veţi mai şovăi între două convingeri? Dacă Domnul este Dumnezeu, urmaţi-L pe El, iar dacă Baal este Dumnezeu, urmaţi-l pe acesta! Poporul nu i-a răspuns nimic.
