S o the king didn’t listen to the people; for it was a thing brought about from Yahweh, that he might establish his word, which Yahweh spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Ainsi le roi n'écouta point le peuple; car cela fut dirigé par l'Éternel, en vue de l'accomplissement de la parole que l'Éternel avait dite par Achija de Silo à Jéroboam, fils de Nebath.
