T here was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David sought the face of Yahweh. Yahweh said, “It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”

Es war auch eine Teuerung zu Davids Zeiten drei Jahre aneinander. Und David suchte das Angesicht des HERRN; und der HERR sprach: Um Sauls willen und um des Bluthauses willen, daß er die Gibeoniter getötet hat.
