A bout three months later, Judah was told, “Tamar, your daughter-in-law, has played the prostitute. Moreover, behold, she is with child by prostitution.” Judah said, “Bring her out, and let her be burnt.”

Ora circa tre mesi dopo vennero a dire a Giuda: «Tamar tua nuora si è prostituita; e, a motivo della sua prostituzione, ella è pure incinta». Allora Giuda disse: «Conducetela fuori e sia arsa!».
