E sau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him. Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Esaú, pues, guardó rencor a Jacob a causa de la bendición con que su padre lo había bendecido; y Esaú se dijo: Los días de luto por mi padre están cerca; entonces mataré a mi hermano Jacob.
