O ne who had escaped came and told Abram, the Hebrew. At that time, he lived by the oaks of Mamre, the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner; and they were allies of Abram.

Da kam einer, der entronnen war, und sagte es Abram an, dem Ausländer, der da wohnte im Hain Mamres, des Amoriters, welcher ein Bruder war Eskols und Aners. Diese waren mit Abram im Bunde.
