B ấy giờ, có ba người quan tướng đầy lòng gan dạ, xông ngang qua trại quân Phi-li-tin, múc nước giếng ở bên cửa thành Bết-lê-hem, rồi đem về dâng cho Đa-vít; nhưng người từ chối không uống, bèn rảy nước đó ra làm lễ dâng cho Đức Giê-hô-va,

And the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate, and took it, and brought it to David; however he would not drink of it, but poured it out to Jehovah.
