I srael lo hirió a filo de espada y se apoderó de su tierra desde el Arnón hasta el Jaboc, hasta los límites de los hijos de Amón, porque la frontera de los hijos de Amón estaba fortificada.

And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from the Arnon unto the Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.
