a unque éste le dijo a Daniel: «Tengo miedo de mi señor el rey, que claramente dijo lo que ustedes debían comer y beber. Si más tarde él ve que los rostros de ustedes son más pálidos que los de los otros jóvenes semejantes a ustedes, me habrán condenado a que el rey me corte la cabeza.»

The prince of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse looking than the youths who are of your own age? so would you endanger my head with the king.
