E n las calles, por los suelos, yacen cuerpos de niños y viejos; mis doncellas y mis jóvenes han muerto a filo de espada. ¡En el día de tu furor mataste y degollaste sin misericordia!

The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets; my maidens and my young men have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of Your anger, slaughtering them without pity.
