E ntonces Moisés extendió su mano sobre el mar, y el Señor hizo que toda esa noche el mar se retirara por causa de un fuerte viento oriental; eso hizo que las aguas se dividieran y que el mar se quedara seco.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided.
