D e tal manera cubrieron la superficie del país, que se oscureció la tierra. Arrasaron con toda la hierba del campo, y con todos los frutos que el granizo había dejado en los árboles. En toda la tierra de Egipto no quedó nada verde en los árboles ni en la hierba del campo.

For they covered the whole land, so that the ground was darkened, and they ate every bit of vegetation of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; there remained not a green thing of the trees or the plants of the field in all the land of Egypt.
