P ero al ver Josabet, la hija del rey, que mataban a los demás hijos del rey, tomó a Joás hijo de Ocozías y lo escondió, y a él y a su nodriza los resguardó en uno de los aposentos. Fue así como Josabet, hija del rey Jorán y mujer del sacerdote Joyadá (pues ella era hermana de Ocozías), escondió a Joás de Atalía, y no lo mataron.

But Jehosheba, the daughter of the king, took Joash son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the king’s sons who were to be slain, and she put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehosheba daughter of King Jehoram, sister of Ahaziah, and wife of Jehoiada the priest, hid from Athaliah, so that she did not slay him.
