L os filisteos llegaron a Baal Perasín, y allí David los derrotó. Después de eso, David dijo: «Con mi mano Dios partió en dos a mis enemigos, como si abriera en dos las aguas.» Por eso el nombre de aquel lugar fue llamado «Baal Perasín».

And they go up into Baal-Perazim, and David smiteth them there, and David saith, `God hath broken up mine enemies by my hand, like the breaking up of waters;' therefore they have called the name of that place Baal-Perazim.
