D avid habló con ellos, y les dijo: «Si ustedes han venido a verme en son de paz, y quieren ayudarme, yo me uniré a ustedes de todo corazón; pero si lo que quieren es entregarme a mis enemigos, que el Dios de nuestros padres lo vea y lo juzgue, pues yo no he cometido ninguna maldad.»

David went out to meet them, and said to them, “If you come peacefully to me to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and decide.”
