E ntonces Gedalías les hizo un juramento a todos ellos, y les dijo: «No tengan ningún temor de servir a los caldeos. Habiten el país, y sirvan al rey de Babilonia, y les irá bien».

And Gedaliah swore to them and their men, saying, Do not be afraid of the Chaldean officials. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
