« Vayan y consulten al Señor por mí y por el pueblo, y por todo Judá, en cuanto a las palabras de este libro que se ha hallado. Con toda seguridad la ira del Señor se ha encendido contra nosotros en gran manera, pues nuestros padres no atendieron a las palabras de este libro, para conducirse en conformidad con todo lo que nos fue escrito.»
