L os israelitas practicaron en secreto cosas que el Señor su Dios no aprobaba; construyeron altares en los montes de todas sus ciudades, y hasta en las torres de las atalayas y en las ciudades fortificadas;

The Israelites did secretly against the Lord their God things not right. They built for themselves high places in all their towns, from watchtower to fortified city.
