C uando el Señor apartó a los israelitas de la dinastía de David, ellos proclamaron como su rey a Jeroboán hijo de Nabat, y Jeroboán apartó a Israel de la obediencia al Señor y los hizo cometer grandes pecados.

For he tore Israel from David’s house; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king; and Jeroboam drove Israel from following Yahweh, and made them sin a great sin.
