E l Señor le hará pagar con su propia sangre, porque asesinó a dos hombres más justos y honrados que él. Los mató a filo de espada, y sin que mi padre David lo supiera. Mató a Abner hijo de Ner, que era general del ejército de Israel, y a Amasa hijo de Jéter, que era general del ejército de Judá.

The Lord shall return his bloody deeds upon his own head, for he fell upon two men more righteous and honorable than he and slew them with the sword, without my father knowing of it: Abner son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
