E lías, un tisbita que vivía en Galaad, fue a decirle a Ajab: «Vive el Señor, Dios de Israel, en cuya presencia estoy, que en los años que vienen no va a llover, y ni siquiera va a caer rocío, a menos que yo lo diga.»

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, saith unto Ahab, `Jehovah, God of Israel, liveth, before whom I have stood, there is not these years dew and rain, except according to my word.'
