L os gabaonitas le respondieron: «No nos interesan el oro y la plata de Saúl y de su familia, ni tampoco queremos que muera nadie en Israel.» Pero el rey insistió: «Pídanme lo que quieran, y yo se lo daré.»

Then the Gibeonites said to him, “ We have no concern of silver or gold with Saul or his house, nor is it for us to put any man to death in Israel.” And he said, “I will do for you whatever you say.”
