P ero Absalón ya había instruido a sus sirvientes: «Manténganse atentos para cuando vean que el vino ya ha puesto muy alegre a Amnón, y a una orden mía ustedes lo matarán. No tengan miedo, que ustedes sólo estarán cumpliendo mis órdenes. ¡Ánimo, y mucho valor!»

Absalom commanded his servants, saying, “Mark now, when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine; and when I tell you, ‘Strike Amnon,’ then kill him. Don’t be afraid. Haven’t I commanded you? Be courageous, and be valiant!”
