D ă-mi deci această regiune muntoasă despre care a vorbit Domnul la acea vreme! Căci tu însuţi ai auzit încă de atunci cum că acolo trăiesc anachiţii, iar cetăţile sunt înalte şi fortificate. Poate că Domnul va fi cu mine şi îi voi izgoni, aşa cum a promis Domnul.“

Now therefore give me this hill-country, whereof Jehovah spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakim were there, and cities great and fortified: it may be that Jehovah will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as Jehovah spake.
